From Food Standards Agency

You must register your holding with the Food Standards Authority (FSA) if it’s used to produce milk which you sell to the public or get processed by someone else.

How to apply

Download the application form from the FSA website.

The way you apply is different if you’re in Northern Ireland. If you’re in Scotland contact your local council.

Give details of the holding, type and time of milk production and the food business operator (FBO), including details of incorporation and any company directors.

Sign and send your application to the FSA Approvals and Registration team.
