Humanitarian Action and Recovery after Crisis (HARC) in the Democratic Republic of the Congo: third-party monitoring of humanitarian support

Overview

The British Embassy Kinshasa is looking for a partner to provide third party monitoring of our other partners who will be delivering protection support, rapid cash assistance and longer-term livelihood and nutrition. Up to £1.25 million is available for this project to run from Autumn 2023 until 31 March 2026.

The call for proposals is open until Monday 31 July 2023.

What the fund will achieve

The proposed project should deliver effective third-party monitoring through:

  • physical in the community monitoring of delivery throughout the programme cycle
  • innovative approaches to monitoring and community engagement
  • scrutiny of Accountability to Affected Populations approaches
  • co-ordination with partner MEAL processes and contribution to evaluations
  • scrutiny of gender and inclusion efforts and approach to prevention of sexual abuse and exploitation (PSEA)
  • scrutiny of protection support
  • monitoring of fraud risk and mitigation activities

We are looking for not-for-profit organisations or partnerships (non-government, civil society and research organisations) currently active in DRC.
