Register trainee teachers (Register) is the service that replaced the Database of trainee teachers and providers (DTTP) in 2022.

Initial teacher training (ITT) providers and lead schools involved in School Direct training routes can use Register to:

• register trainee teachers with the Department for Education (DfE)
• record the outcome of their training
• check their funding
