The role of the National Advice Service (NAS)

The VAT Helpline deals with telephone and written enquiries from businesses and the general public about VAT and excise matters. For example:

  • Requests for copies of notice 703/2 or Form VAT 436
  • Routine enquiries concerning vessels supplied under the scheme.
