TCM1000576 - How to In Year Finalise after an appeal has closed

Step 1

On the ‘Function Menu’

  • select ‘IY Finalisation’ on the toolbar
  • select ‘Maintain IY Finalisation’ from the options available

    • you will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data screen
  • enter the customer’s NINO
  • select ‘OK’

If you are taken to the ‘Select individual’ screen

  • select the relevant individual that you need to work
  • select ‘OK’

    • you will be taken to ‘Household Details’ screen’
  • go to Step 2 

If you are taken to the ‘Select household’ screen

  • select the relevant household that you need to work
  • select ‘OK’

    • you will be taken to ‘Household Details’ screen’
  • go to Step 2 

If you are taken straight to the ‘Household Details’ screen

Step 2

On the ‘Household details’ screen

  • select ‘continue’ until you get to the ‘finalisation details’ screen
  • select ‘Finalise’

    • the ‘finalise in year’ dialogue box will displayed
  • select ‘Appeals’ from the ‘Action Authority’ field
  • select ‘As Agreed’ from the ‘Finalise’ field
  • select ‘OK’

Note: If an error message does not display after you have selected ‘Finalise’, the award will be finalised.
