TCM1000574 - How to check if an In Year Declaration has already been marked as not served

Step 1

On the ‘Function Menu’

  • select ‘In Year Finalisation’ on the toolbar
  • select ‘Maintain IY Finalisation’ from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data screen
  • enter the customer’s NINO
  • select ‘OK’. You will be taken to ‘Household Details’ screen’
  • go to Step 2.

If you are taken to the ‘Select individual’ screen

  • select the relevant individual that you need to work
  • select ‘OK’ You will be taken to ‘Household Details’ screen’
  • go to Step 2.

If you are taken to the ‘Select household’ screen

  • select the relevant household that you need to work
  • select ‘OK’ You will be taken to ‘Household Details’ screen
  • go to Step 2.

Step 2

On the ‘Household Details’ screen

  • select ‘Continue’ You will be taken to the ‘Notice details’ screen
  • in the ‘In Year S17 Notice’ field, if the Declaration has been ‘marked as not served’ there will be ticks in the ‘not served’ checkboxes

Note: In a joint claim both checkboxes will have been selected
