TCM1000564 - How to record a Tribunal decision 'Appeal Adjourned' in function Maintain Appeal

On the ‘Function Menu’

  • select ‘Application’ on the toolbar
  • select ‘Maintain Appeal’ from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data’ screen
  • enter the customer’s NINO
  • select ‘OK’.

If you are taken to the ‘Select Application’ screen

  • select the appropriate claim version the customer has appealed against by highlighting the entry and selecting ‘OK’. You will be taken to the ‘Select Award’ screen
  • select the award version the customer has appealed against by highlighting the appropriate entry and selecting ‘OK’. You will be taken to the ‘Maintain Appeal’ screen. It will appear with an ‘O’ for Open or a ‘C’ for Closed. You will be taken to the ‘Maintain Appeal’ screen
  • select the status ‘Adjourned’ from the ‘Appeal Status’ drop down menu
  • enter the date the supplementary response was sent, in the ‘Date Sent For Listing’ field.

If you are not taken to the ‘Select Application’ screen

  • select the award version the customer has appealed against by highlighting the appropriate entry and selecting ‘OK’. You will be taken to the ‘Maintain Appeal’ screen. It will appear with an ‘O’ for Open or a ‘C’ for Closed. You will be taken to the ‘Maintain Appeal’ screen
  • select the status ‘Adjourned’ from the ‘Appeal Status’ drop down menu
  • enter the date the supplementary response was sent, in the ‘Date Sent For Listing’ field.
