How to ‘Confirm Customer Authority’ on the National Direct Debit System (NDDS)

Changes to previous version - new guidance

Step 1

To Confirm Customer Authority

  • select the ‘Customer Authority Confirmed’ checkbox
  • select ‘Check Details’. You will be taken to the ‘Review and Confirm’ screen
  • read the bank details back to the customer to confirm that the details you have entered are correct

If NDDS confirms that the details are valid 

  • select ‘Save’, you will be taken to the ‘Create Payment Plan’ screen
