How to check if the correct in year percentage has been set

Changes to previous version - new guidance.

Step 1

On the ‘Function Menu’

  • select ‘Household’ on the toolbar
  • select ‘View Overpayments’ from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data - Applicant’ screen
  • enter the customer’s NINO
  • select ‘OK’
  • select the latest CY award. You will be taken to the ‘View Overpayment’ screen
  • select ‘Details’
  • make a note of the ‘CY in year maximum recovery’ in the ‘Recovery restriction’ field

If the ‘CY in year maximum recovery’ figure is less than the ‘CY actual in year recovery’ figure,

  • the correct in year percentage has not been applied
  • return to the guidance you were following

If the ‘CY in year maximum recovery’ figure is more than the ‘CY actual in year recovery’ figure,

  • the correct in year percentage has been applied
  • return to the guidance you were following
