TCM1000518 - How to check if a customer is a crown servant or NAAFI worker

Step 1

A Crown Servant may have one or more of the following on the tax credits system or Child Benefit Service

• a BFPO address in either customer’s address details
• ‘Foreign Office’ or ‘Home Office’ in either customer’s work details
• any mention of ‘Army,’ ‘Navy,’ ‘MOD,’ or ‘HMF’ in either customer’s work details.

A NAAFI worker may have the following on the tax credits computer or the system containing Child Benefit information in either customer’s work details, ‘NAAFI’.
