TCM1000500 - How to check if a claim is ceased due to Universal Credit (UC)

Step 1

On the ‘Function Menu’

  • select ‘Application’ on the tool bar
  • select ‘View’ from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry data’-Applicant’ screen
  • enter the customer’s NINO
  • select the ‘all’ check box
  • select OK

If you are taken to the ‘Select Application Version’ screen

  • select the relevant application
  • select ‘OK’. You will be taken to the ‘Application Summary’ screen
  • go to Step 2 

If you are taken straight to the ‘Application Summary’ screen, go to Step 2.

Step 2

If you receive a ‘pop up’ box with ‘Universal Credit’ and a date

  • the claim has ceased because the customer has claimed Universal Credit (UC)

If you do not receive a ‘pop up’ box with ‘Universal Credit’ and a date

  • the claim has not ceased due to Universal Credit being claimed
