TCM1000456 - How to find and access a claim on the Potential Match MU

Changes to previous version - new guidance.

Step 1

On the ‘Function Menu’

  • select ‘Worklist’ on the toolbar
  • select ‘Maintain’ from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Maintain Worklist’ screen
  • select ‘Potential Match’ from the ‘Worklist Type’ field

Note: This should be the only option available.

  • select the Potential Match MU from the ‘Management Unit’ field
  • go to Step 2.

Step 2

If the message ‘No Worklist Entries for the selected Management Unit’ displays, return to the guidance you were previously following at the point you left it.

If you have a reference number

  • select ‘Sort Filter’. You will be taken to the ‘Sort and Filter Worklist Entries’ screen
  • select ‘Reference’ in the ‘Sort’ field
  • select ‘Reference’ in the ‘Filter 1’ field
  • enter the customer’s NINO in the ‘From Value’ and ‘To Value’ fields
  • select ‘OK’
  • go to Step 4.

If you don’t have a reference number

  • select ‘Sort Filter’. You will be taken to the ‘Sort and Filter Worklist Entries’ screen
  • select ‘Name’ in the ‘Sort’ field
  • select ‘Name’ in the ‘Filter 1’ field
  • enter the customer’s name in the ‘From Value’ and ‘To Value’ fields
  • select ‘OK’
  • go to Step 3.

Step 3

If the work list item displays

  • select the work list item
  • select ‘File’ on the toolbar
  • select ‘Next Function’ from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Work Management - Select Function’ screen
  • select ‘Capture Application’
  • select ‘OK’
  • go to Step 4.

If the work list item didn’t display, return to the guidance you were previously following at the point you left it.

Step 4

If you are taken to the ‘Applicant 1’ screen

  • a screen will display showing if both customers or which customer is a ‘Potential Match’
  • make a note of the customer who is a potential match
  • select ‘OK’.

If the message ‘This Application can not be Opened in Capture’ displays

Note: The message usually indicates the claim has been rejected with an outstanding potential match.

  • select ‘OK’. You will be taken to the ‘Maintain Worklist’ screen
  • select ‘Cancel’. You will be taken back to the ‘Function Menu’
  • the claim can’t be accessed on the Potential Match MU.
