TCM1000406 - How to check the start date of an award

Changes to previous version - new guidance.

Step 1

On the ‘Function Menu’

  • select ‘Household’ on the toolbar
  • select ‘View Claim Summary’ from the options available. You’ll be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data’ screen
  • enter the customers NINO
  • select the ‘All’ checkbox
  • select ‘OK’.

If you’re taken to the ‘Select Individual’ screen

  • select the relevant claim
  • select ‘OK’. You’ll be taken to the ‘View Claim Summary - Initial’ screen
  • go to Step 2.

If you’re taken to the ‘Select Application’ screen

  • select the relevant claim
  • select ‘OK’. You’ll be taken to the ‘View Claim Summary - Initial’ screen
  • go to Step 2.

If you’re taken the ‘Select Award’ screen, the start date of the award is shown in the ‘Award Start Date’ column.

If you’re taken to the ‘View Claim Summary - Initial’ screen, go to Step 2.

On the ‘View Award Summary - Initial’ screen, the start date of the award is shown in the ‘Ent Start Date’ field.

Note: If the ‘View Award Summary - Signals’ screen displays, select ‘Cancel’. You’ll be taken back to the ‘View Award Summary - Initial’ screen.
