How to find the date of the latest award version for a mismatch claim

Step 1

On the ‘Function Menu’

  • select ‘Application’ on the toolbar
  • select ‘View’ from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data - Applicant’ screen
  • enter the customer’s NINO
  • select the ‘period’ checkbox and enter the appropriate tax year in the period box (06-04-ccyy)
  • select ‘OK’.

If you are taken to the ‘Select Application’ screen

  • select the relevant claim
  • select ‘OK’. You will be taken to the ‘Application Summary’ screen
  • go to .

If you are taken to the ‘Select Application Version’ screen

  • select the relevant version
  • select ‘OK’. You will be taken to the ‘Application Summary’ screen
  • go to .

If you are taken straight to the ‘Application Summary’ screen, go to .

Step 2

If you are dealing with a mismatch bad claim

  • determine the bad and clean cases by comparing the details shown on the Application Summary screen against the Mismatch proforma sheet within the casepapers.

If you are dealing with a mismatch clean claim

  • find the date of the latest award version for the tax year specified.

Note: This date should be the same as the amended date on form TC603R.
