How to update customer details using CBUS schedules

Note: Child Benefit computer systems will be replaced by HMRC IT systems.

Step 1

On your desktop

  • select the ‘CBUS’ icon twice in quick succession. You will be taken to the main screen
  • select ‘Schedules’
  • select ‘CH1702’ on the toolbar
  • enter the Child Benefit reference number in the first column
  • select the appropriate title for the customer from the options available in the second column
  • select ‘Bank’ from the options available in the third column
  • enter the POca details in the fourth column
    Note: A help screen will display when you access the fourth column.
  • select ‘OK’. You have updated the customer’s details using the CBUS schedules.
