Changes to previous version - amended guidance

Step 1

On the ‘Function Menu’

  • select ‘Renewal’ on the toolbar
  • select ‘View S17 Details’ from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data’ screen
  • enter the customer’s NINO
  • select the relevant checkbox
  • select ‘OK’.

If you are taken to the ‘Select Household’ screen

  • select the relevant household
  • select ‘OK’. You will be taken to the ‘View S17 - Current Position’ screen
  • go to Step 2.

If you are taken to the ‘Select S17 Period’ screen

  • select the relevant award
  • select ‘OK’. You will be taken to the ‘View S17 - Current Position’ screen
  • go to Step 2.

If you are taken straight to the ‘View S17 - Current Position’ screen, go to Step 2.

Step 2

If the ‘View S17 - Current Signals’ screen displays, go to Step 3.

If you are taken straight to the ‘View S17 - Current Position’ screen, there are no signals set.

On the ‘View S17 - Current Signals’ screen, the signals which have been set will have their checkboxes selected.

If you need to see why the ‘Terminated’ checkbox has been selected, go to Step 4.

If you do not need to see why the ‘Terminated’ checkbox has been selected, return to the guidance you were previously following.

Step 4

On the ‘View S17 -Current Signals’ screen

  • select ‘Cancel’. You will be taken back to the ‘View S17 - Current Position’ screen
  • check the ‘Status’ field

    • ‘Compliance Terminated’ will be shown in the ‘Status’ field if the case has been compliance terminated
    • ‘Terminated At 1SD’ will be shown in the ‘Status’ field if the case has been renewals terminated.
