Changes to previous version - new guidance

Step 1

On the ‘Function Menu’

  • select ‘Renewal’ on the toolbar
  • select ‘View S17 Details’ from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data - Renewals’ screen
  • enter the customer’s NINO
  • select the ‘All’ checkbox
  • select ‘OK’.

If you are taken to the ‘Select Household’ screen

  • select the relevant household
  • select ‘OK’. You will be taken to the ‘View Section 17 - Current Position’ screen
  • go to Step 2.

If you are taken to the ‘Select Tax Credit Period’ screen

  • select the relevant period
  • select ‘OK’. You will be taken to the ‘View Section 17 - Current Position’ screen
  • go to Step 2.

If you are taken straight to the ‘View Section 17 - Current Position’ screen, go to Step 2.

On the ‘View Section 17 - Current Position’ screen, check the ‘Status’ field. This will tell you the status of the renewal.
