TCM1000151 - How to check the award status of a rebuilt mismatched clean claim - Mismatch team only

Step 1

If a single clean case was rebuilt with a NINO, go to Step 2 

If a single clean case was rebuilt without a NINO, go to Step 3 

If a joint clean case was rebuilt and both customers’ have a NINO, go to Step 2 

If a joint clean case was rebuilt and either one or both customers do not have a NINO, go to Step 3

Step 2

On the ‘Function Menu’

  • select ‘Application’ on the toolbar
  • select ‘View’ from the options available. You’ll be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data - Applicant’ screen
  • enter the NINO or the bad NINO used to rebuild the new claim
  • select the ‘All’ checkbox
  • select ‘OK’

If you are taken to the ‘Select Application Version’ screen

  • check the version status to see if the claim is in payment
  • go to Step 4 

If you are taken to the ‘Application Summary’ screen

  • check the status to see if the claim is in payment
  • go to Step 4 

If you are taken to the ‘Select Application’ screen

  • check the status to see if the claim is in payment
  • go to Step 4

Step 3

On the ‘Function Menu’ screen

  • select ‘Application’ on the toolbar
  • select ‘View’ from the options available. You’ll be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data - Applicant’ screen
  • enter the following customer details

    • surname
    • first name
    • date of birth
  • select ‘All’
  • select ‘OK’. You’ll be taken to the ‘Select Individual’ screen
  • select the latest claim without a NINO
  • select ‘OK’. You’ll be taken to the ‘Application Summary’ screen
  • go to Step 4

Step 4

If the award status is shown as ‘Award Issued’

  • the clean claim is in payment

If the award status is shown as ‘Awaiting Award’

  • the claim is not in payment

If the award status is shown as ‘Rejected’ 

  • the clean claim has been rejected and will not be in payment

If the award status is shown as ‘Withdrawn’ 

  • the clean claim has been withdrawn and will not be in payment

If the award status is shown as ‘Terminated’

  • the clean claim has been terminated and will not be in payment
