TCM1000145 - How to find a childcare provider’s address

Changes to previous version - new guidance

Step 1

If you are on the ‘Change Childcare Provider’ screen, go to Step 3.

If you are not already on the ‘Change Childcare Provider’ screen

  • on the ‘Function Menu’
  • select ‘Application’ on the toolbar
  • select ‘Change of Circumstances’ from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data’ screen
  • enter the customer’s NINO
  • select the relevant checkbox
  • select ‘OK’.

If you are taken to the ‘Select Household’ screen

  • select the relevant claim
  • select ‘OK’. You will be taken to the ‘Applicant Details’ screen
  • go to Step 2.

If you are taken to the ‘Select Application’ screen

  • select the relevant claim
  • select ‘OK’. You will be taken to the ‘Applicant Details’ screen
  • go to Step 2.

If you are taken straight to the ‘Applicant Details’ screen, go to Step 2.

Step 2

On the ‘Applicant Details’ screen

Note: If the ‘Signals’ screen displays, select ‘OK’.

  • select ‘CC’ on the toolbar. You will be taken to the ‘Childcare Details’ screen
  • select the relevant childcare provider
  • select ‘Change’. You will be taken to the ‘Change Childcare Provider’ screen
  • go to Step 3.

Step 3

On the ‘Change Childcare Provider’ screen

  • select ‘Address’. You will be taken to the ‘Address Change’ screen
  • enter the address details in the appropriate field
  • select ‘Quick’ or ‘Advanced’

Note: You must have the postcode and house name, or the house number to use the ‘Quick’ search.

Note: If the message ‘There are more than 25 matching addresses’ displays, select ‘OK’. You will be taken to the ‘Select Address’ screen.

  • select the correct address using the information you hold. You have found the childcare provider’s address.
