How to trace a customer’s address on TBS
From ‘My Workplace’
- select ‘Corporate Services’
- select ‘Interim Single Sign On (ISSO)’
- select ‘TBS View Service’ from the options available
- enter the customer’s NINO in ‘View Tax Payer Summary Details’
- select ‘Retrieve’ on the toolbar
- check the details on this screen with the customer details you have
- go to Step 2.
If the details shown match the customer details you have
- select ‘View’ on the toolbar
- select ‘Address History’ from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘View Taxpayer Address History’ screen
- check all the previous addresses in the ‘Address History’ field to see if the details match the address you have or a new address is shown.
- note any details you need.
Note: You must check all the details carefully until you are happy you have the correct tax credits customer.
If the details shown do not match the customer details you have, make a note and return to the guidance you were previously following.
