How to issue a manual statement of account

Step 1

Note: In a joint claim a TC607 is completed for both customers.

Note: Teams who use Manual Award Notices should remove all previous versions and links.

Note: The ‘TC602 Installer (Excel 29KB)’ will enable you to gain access to the current version of the TC602, TC603R and TC607. Selecting the link will activate it and place a file called ‘TC602 Control Sheet.xls’ onto your desktop.

Note: The ‘TC602 Installer (Excel 29KB)’ will also place a ‘TC603R’ and ‘TC607’ onto your desktop.

Save any open ‘Excel’ spreadsheets you are working on before opening the Control Sheet.

If you have already placed a file called ‘TC602 Control Sheet.xls’ onto your desktop

  • select ‘TC602 Control Sheet.xls’ from your desktop to open the current version of the ‘TC602 manual award notice’
  • go to Step 2.

If you haven’t placed a file called ‘TC602 Control Sheet.xls’ onto your desktop

  • select TC602 Control Sheet (Excel 543kb) to place a file called ‘TC602 Control Sheet.xls’ onto your desktop
  • select ‘TC607’ from your desktop to open the current version of the ‘TC607 manual statement of account’
  • go to Step 2.

Step 2

  • complete fully the appropriate fields on the TC607 selecting the relevant options for your task.

If the overpayment amount is less than £26, go to Step 3.

If the overpayment amount is more than £26, go to Step 4.

Step 3

  • select ‘yes’ next to ‘is the WTC amount too little to reclaim’
  • check the TC607 for accuracy
  • take no further action.

  • select ‘no’ next to ‘is the WTC amount too little to reclaim’
  • check the TC607 for accuracy
  • take no further action.
