Changes to previous version - new guidance

Step 1

On the ‘Function Menu’

  • select ‘Renewal’ on the toolbar
  • select ‘Manage Finalisation’ from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data - Applicant’ screen
  • enter the customer’s NINO
  • select the ‘Period’ checkbox and enter the relevant year as 06/04/YYYY - 05/04/YYYY

If you are taken to the ‘Select Household’ screen

  • select the relevant household
  • select ‘OK’. You will be taken to the ‘Manage Finalisation’ screen
  • go to Step 2.

If you are taken straight to the ‘Manage Finalisation’ screen, go to Step 2.

Step 2

On the ‘Manage Finalisation’ screen

  • select ‘Continue’. You will be taken to the ‘Finalisation details’ screen
  • select ‘Continue’. You will be taken to the ‘Notice details’ screen
  • in the ‘S17 Notice’ field, if the Annual Declaration has been ‘marked as not served’ there will be ticks in the ‘not served’ checkboxes

  • Note: in a joint claim both checkboxes will have been selected
