Claims - requests: Claim form requests (Info)

You may receive a request for a tax credits claim form (TC600)

  • during a phone conversation.

If the customer indicates that they need a claim form in Welsh, follow the guidance in TCM0072160.

Note: The Welsh claim form isn’t available in Braille.

Requests for all other types of tax credits claim forms are dealt with by the Tax Credits Helpline. These include claim forms for visually-impaired customers

  • in Braille
  • on audio (tape or disc)
  • in large print.

The Helpline will give advice on eligibility and entitlement before issuing a claim pack

If a customer who sent a written request for a claim form can’t be contacted by phone, issue a letter telling them to ring the Helpline.
