Organisations: Introduction to Organisations


The Shared Workspace service can be used to collaborate with Customer Organisations.Examples of Organisations are Businesses, Other Government Departments, Pension Providers, Agents and External Consultative Bodies.

Organisations invited to use the service are responsible for managing and maintaining their own members within the rooms.

Customer members access the service as individuals representing their organisations and can only be added to a room by a Customer Nominated Contact representing their organisation.


  1. Shared Workspace cannot be used to collaborate with Individuals.
  2. In exceptional circumstances there may be multiple organisations within a single Room, subject to compliance with SW03120.
