Member Roles: Request to Change Customer Member Role
All requests to change a Customer Member’s role can only be made by a Customer Nominated Contact (CNC).
Where a Customer Member needs to change their role, they must contact the CNC for the Room who will make the request on their behalf. A full explanation of how the CNC does this is available in the CNC Learning package.
Note: A CNC can only re-assign roles to people within their organisation and must only re-assign roles that contain their organisation name. An HMRC Business Authorising Officer of the Room will review and authorise all requests SW04245.

Before a Customer Member is assigned the role of CNC, HMRC strongly recommends that they complete the CNC Learning package.
