Risk Assessing: Business Continuity Plan

Shared Workspace is a fully supported HMRC IT Service and its infrastructure is held at secure government sites. In the event of a significant event such as a flood, a fire or a major disaster Shared Workspace may be unavailable for a period of time.

Business Units

It is the responsibility of all Business Units using Shared Workspace to ensure that their business continuity plan addresses the need to maintain business as usual in the event that Shared Workspace becomes unavailable.

Customer Organisations

It is the Customer Organisation’s responsibility to ensure that their business continuity plan addresses the need to maintain business as usual in the event that Shared Workspace becomes unavailable.
