SAM70100 - Manage work: customer service: online filing - dealing with enquiries
From April 2000 individuals have been able to file their Self Assessment tax return details over the Internet. From December 2003 this has been extended to include Partnership and Trust returns.
Customers who wish to file their returns over the Internet can obtain information from the Gov.uk website at .
If you receive a request for further information or help you should advise the taxpayer that full details can be found on the Gov.uk website.
If the taxpayer does not yet have access to the Gov.uk website, or they still require more information they should contact the Online Services Helpdesk on 0300 200 3600.
The Online Services Helpdesk is available on
- Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm
- Saturday 8am to 4pm
- Closed Sunday,Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day
