SAM107010 - Records: welsh language: welsh language - arrangements within SA

The SA system will not automatically produce output in the Welsh language. Special arrangements have to be made for customers who request that all correspondence received from HMRC is in Welsh.

If a case is identified in which output from the SA system should be issued in Welsh, it is necessary to amend the customer’s SA record too

  • Ensure that all output produced by the SA system is issued to the Welsh Unit, at the address below, in order that translated copies may be sent to the customer or person acting in capacity

And

  • Identify cases in which an SA return, including any supplementary pages, may be manually issued in Welsh. The case will be included on the ‘Manual Issue of Return’ work list
