P11D processing: QA/QC for captured forms P11D: introduction

ECS has an inbuilt QA/QC function enabling us to assure the quality of the P11D capture process. Cases are automatically selected and the QA/QC questions are provided by ECS. The records of the quality checks must be retained for audit purposes.

Where necessary you will need to identify and agree appropriate training and development needs on an individual basis.

Providing feedback is an essential part of the QA/QC process, and the Continuous Improvement aims of PaceSetter. It completes the quality cycle and makes a significant contribution towards a lasting improvement in quality.

The results of the QA/QC checks are recorded on ECS but you are also required to record these results on the National QA/QC Database under ‘P11D Capture Programme’, ‘P11D Capture’ or ‘P11D Amendments’ as appropriate depending on the type of cases selected.

Results of ‘In-flight checks’ carried out should also be recorded on the National QA/QC Database.
