Employer returns: employer return work lists: filed online advisory

Note: From 6 April 2004, the Income Tax (Pay As You Earn) Regulations 2003 replaced the Income Tax (Employments) Regulations 1993. The following text refers to the new Regulation numbers, however some forms and functions refer to the old Regulation number.

A work item is generated and entered on the ‘Filed Online Advisory’ work list when

  • A return, or return part submitted by PAYE Online for Employers - EDI or Internet has been successfully processed

But

  • Further action needs to be considered by the Processing Office responsible for that employer record

Every work item on the ‘Filed Online Advisory’ work list will show the reason for the entry.

Responsibility for the work list

This work list will be available to staff allocated the EBS Employer Maint user role.

Work items that cannot be settled quickly can be noted as ‘Working’ which will be displayed as a ‘Y’ in the Working column on the work list itself. This facility is particularly useful to enable other staff to identify cases that are already being reviewed.

Deletion of the work item

The work item is not deleted automatically. When your review has been completed, you should delete the item manually in Function WORKLISTS.
