EXPP1040 - Introduction: risks

The main risks have been identified as:

• The export of controlled goods without the correct authorisation from the Department for International Trade.
• Failure to present the relevant documents (licences and export declarations) for the export of controlled goods.
• The presentation of pre-shipment documents with false, incorrect or incomplete information
• The theft or diversion of freight to domestic use.
• Failure to comply with regulations regarding the use of simplifications and facilitations
