Legislation: Social Security Contributions (Transfer of Functions, etc.) Act 1999 and the Social Security Contributions (Transfer of Functions, etc) (Northern Ireland) Order 1999: Amendments

DANSP01300 tells you about the Social Security Contributions (Transfer of Functions, etc.) Act 1999 (The Transfer Act) and the equivalent Order that applies to Northern Ireland (the Order). The Transfer Act and the Order have been amended by other Acts and Orders since their introduction. The amendments include

  • repeal of legislation which is no longer appropriate,
  • substituting text, for example, to take account of decisions required in connection with the entitlement of statutory paternity and adoption pay.

The most significant changes made to the Act and Order have been made by the Transfer of Tribunal, Courts and Enforcement Act 2007. For more information about this Act see DANSP02500.
