Repayments are made in relation to your income. Repayments will be taken when your income is over the threshold amount for your plan and or loan type.

You can choose to make extra repayments towards your student loan. These are in addition to the repayments you must make through your employment or Self Assessment. 

You can access gov.uk website if you wish to make an additional payment or require more information.

1. You cannot get a refund of any extra payments you make.
