ATA carnet procedures: format of the ATA carnet: exportation voucher and counterfoil

Exportation voucher

The yellow exportation voucher and its associated yellow exportation counterfoil are the prime indicators that the goods have been exported from the EU and which goods were exported. The details to be recorded on the exportation voucher are:

A The carnet holder’s name and address
B The name and address of any representative
C The intended use of the goods
D Means of transport being used to move the goods
E Packaging details
F The declaration by the carnet holder/representative that they are temporarily exporting the goods detailed on the general list, that they will re-import the goods by the due date and that the information provided is correct. They also sign and date the declaration. This list may have fewer items than the general list but never more.
G For use by the issuing association:
  1. the carnet number and the number of continuation sheets
  2. the name and address of the issuing association
  3. the expiry date of the carnet     
      H Customs certificate at the office of exit:
  4. a declaration that the goods have been exported
  5. the final date for re-importation
  6. the address of the office to which the voucher should be sent. In the case of UK issued carnets, this would be the National Carnet Unit (NCU). Other responsible offices in the EU are detailed in ATACPD19000 
  7. any other relevant remarks
and the name and stamp of the office of exit and a signature and date
