Operational assurance overview: Health and Safety: Accidents, ill-health and violence

There is guidance on accidents, ill-health and violence on the Personal safety About You intranet pages - see AGL2670.

If you have an accident at a site you must:

  • report it at the site using their accident reporting procedures;
  • report the accident to your manager; and
  • complete form HR ACC1 at your normal work station.

For planned visits, find out what reporting procedures are before arriving and make a note at the front of the business’s file if appropriate.

In cases of violence or threats to staff follow the same process, using form HR VIO1.
