You can find the Upware leisure moorings on the beautiful Cambridgeshire Lodes within the village of Upware.

The location is:

Access by boat to these moorings is through Upware lock off the River Cam. The site:

is situated in a rural position between Ely and Cambridge
is surrounded by open countryside with 3 Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) in the area
has far reaching views across the local countryside thanks to its unique characteristic of being elevated above ground level

Mooring duration	A minimum of 16 weeks duration and no maximum which can be renewed annually
Berth size	62ft or 18.9m maximum (limited by the dimensions of Upware Lock)
On-site facilities	Drinking water and general waste bins
Parking	Parking is available at the nearby fisherman’s car park, which is free of charge. During the summer months vehicles may access the bank for loading and unloading. However, you must not leave your vehicle for long periods or overnight.
Security	A locked gate is in use to stop unauthorised access along the flood bank. Authorised access is limited to summer months to prevent damage to the area.
Visitor mooring	There is 48-hour visitor mooring located at the upstream end of the rented moorings, near to the Wicken Fen turning.
