The Law Commission is the statutory body set up under the Law Commissions Act 1965 to keep the law of England and Wales under review and to recommend reform where it is needed. It is an independent non-departmental body sponsored by the Ministry of Justice.

The Law Commission will shortly be settling its 13th Programme of Law Reform.

We are looking for an experienced criminal lawyer to join the Law Commission’s criminal law team, typically with particular responsibility for one project, but possibly contributing to other projects also.
