Types of apprenticeships that you can apply for in the informatics (health) sector.
Informatics is a new field within healthcare, but there are already more than 50,000 people working in related roles in the NHS alone. Informatics constantly needs young fresh starters to keep up with the new IT systems and methods of data storage.
Informatics is a mix of IT, customer service and healthcare. You’ll be dealing with information in the health sector, including its storage, retrieval and acquisition. Up until recently there were no specific informatics qualifications, so the intermediate and advanced apprenticeships that have been developed will provide you with a real boost if you are looking for a career in this industry.
