The amount of Small Producer Relief you can get depends on:

  • which alcoholic product you make
  • how much pure alcohol you make in a production year

Before you start

You should check if you’re eligible to pay less Alcohol Duty as a small producer.

You’ll need to know:

  • the amount of pure alcohol in hectolitres that you’ve produced in the previous production year
  • the amount of pure alcohol in hectolitres, that you expect to produce in the current production year
  • if your products were made under licence
  • the date you started making alcohol
