Duty solicitor rotas 1 April 2016 to 30 September 2016
The CRM 12 application deadline for these rotas is Friday 12 February 2016
Late applications will not be accepted
You need to submit a CRM 12 for new or moving duty solicitors. To be eligible for slots, individuals must be employed by you, on or before 1 April 2016. Rota slots will be allocated on an individual basis.
If this is your first CRM12 application, it must be supported by a Criminal Litigation Accreditation Scheme certificate from The Law Society.
Changes in circumstances
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org before 12 February 2016 if a duty solicitor gives formal notice of leaving or leaves your employment.
LAA publishes provisional members’ lists on Monday 15 February on the Duty Solicitor web page with a deadline for feedback by Monday 22 February 2016.
Email feedback allowing time for us to investigate the issues raised and make any necessary changes in time for publication.

The 2010 standard crime contract is critical for legal aid providers in criminal matters.
Apply for more duty slots
You will only need to complete and send us a CRM12 application for new duty solicitors or duty solicitors who have just joined your firm.
Fill in the CRM12 for newly qualified duty solicitors by the deadline - usually 2 months before the rota starts. New rota slots will then be allocated.
If this is your first CRM12 application, it must be supported by a Criminal Litigation Accreditation Scheme certificate from the Law Society.
