CICA Subject Access Request

Requests for access to personal data that the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA) holds about you.

Overview

If you wish to make a Subject Access Request (SAR) to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA) this can be sent in writing to the following address:

The request must:

  • Include the prescribed fee of £10 by means of a crossed cheque marked A/C Payee Only or a crossed postal order made payable to CICA
  • The request must be signed and include a form of photographic identification for verification
  • Explain specifically what information you are looking for
  • You should expect to receive your completed Subject Access Request no later than 40 calendar days from the date we receive this completed form and the £10 fee.

Complaints Relating to Subject Access Requests

If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your Subject Access Request, you have the right to request a review by a manager. You can do this writing to the address below clearly stating the reasons for your dissatisfaction.
