Upcoming APEC disruption to visa services in China

Due to the upcoming APEC meetings in Beijing there is likely to be significant disruption to transport services between 7 - 12 November.

Due to the upcoming APEC meetings in Beijing there is likely to be significant disruption to transport services between 7 - 12 November.

This is likely to have an impact on our courier services. During this period UK Visas & Immigration will continue to offer the 3-5 day priority visa service but are not able to commit to meeting the target time in certain locations across China. Services are likely to be more affected in the following locations:

  • Chengdu
  • Chongqing
  • Fuzhou
  • Guangzhou
  • Jinan
  • Shenyang
  • Shenzhen
  • Wuhan

Please note UK Visas & Immigration will still be able to offer the Super Priority 24 Hour Visa Service in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.

We strongly recommend that you apply for your visa this week. We would like to remind customers that you can apply for your UK visa up to three months in advance of your proposed travel date.
