The English Speaking Union Belarus Public Speaking Competition

The National Final of the English Speaking Union's International Public Speaking Competition was held at the British Embassy on 16 March.

Twelve young people from around Belarus gathered at the British Embassy on Saturday 16 March to showcase their public speaking skills and to compete for a chance to represent Belarus at the International Final of the English Speaking Union (ESU) Public Speaking Competition in London. The international round of the competition brings together the best speakers from all over the world for a week of cultural exchange, including debates and public speaking workshops, educational trips and excursions in London, and of course the grand final.

The winner of this year’s competition is Rammi Dgham, who will represent Belarus in London in May. Rammi also received the Audience Choice Award. The second place was awarded to Yana Tarasevich, and Darya Krakavyak was the first Runner-up.
