The British Embassy in Bangkok marks Remembrance Day
British Ambassador Mark Kent, led a Remembrance Day service in Bangkok and in Kanchanaburi.
On Sunday 10 November 2013, British Ambassador Mark Kent, led a Remembrance Day service at the British Embassy in Bangkok to commemorate those who gave their lives in two World Wars and in conflicts since.
The Ambassador also led the service in Kanchanaburi on Monday 11 November 2013.
Around 250 people attended the service in Bangkok, including diplomatic and military guests and many former servicemen and women.
Guests of honour laid wreaths at the Embassy’s war memorial and observed a two minute silence to honour the fallen.
