British Consulate outreach event in Pombal

British Consulate Lisbon will hold an event on 12 March to raise awareness of services available to UK nationals in centre Portugal.

Outreach event in Pombal

Continuing with our Consulate in the Community initiative, the British Consulate is organising an event in Pombal on Wednesday, 12th March 2014, with the aim of raising awareness of consular and other services available to British nationals in the centre of Portugal.

The event will be held at the Mini-Auditório do Teatro-Cine of the Câmara Municipal de Pombal commencing at 4.30pm and finishing at 6.30pm. Doors open at 4pm.

The event will be opened by the British Consular staff and talks (in English) will be given by:

  • Consular officer Ana Queiroz, who will be talking about the work undertaken by Consular staff in Portugal
  • Vicky Rodrigues of Neville de Rougemont & lawyers, who will be talking about Wills, Property & Estates
  • A representative from Servilusa who will be clarifying death procedures and repatriation.
  • Dr Joao Gomes of Portuguese Customs authority will give a presentation on vehicle importation.

There will be an opportunity to ask questions after each presentation.

There are approximately 100 places available and entrance is free so please confirm your attendance by sending an email to notarial.portugal@fco.gov.uk. If you do not have internet access, please call 808 20 35 37 and ask to speak to a member of the consular team on extension 4118.
