Innovate, collaborate, accelerate UK-Thailand 4.0

On Tuesday 28 February, the British Ambassador, Brian Davidson, hosted a reception at the British Residence to celebrate the pioneering and innovative UK-Thai partnership in aerospace and advanced engineering.

UK and Thai companies and universities have worked together for many years to help build world-class capability in these sectors, to the benefit of both the UK and Thailand.

Thailand 4.0

Thailand 4.0 is the Thai government’s ambitious new programme to take the country’s economic, social, and technological development to new heights.

Thailand 4.0 offers great potential for the next stage in the Thai-UK aerospace and advanced engineering partnership. With a world renowned research base, top universities and talented workforce, technology thrives in the UK.

UK companies offer world class technology and know-how that can support the goals of Thailand 4.0.

A number of leading companies from the UK’s aerospace and advanced engineering sectors presented at the reception, showcasing some of their highly innovative capabilities.
