Dominican Minister of Higher Education visits the United Kingdom
The Dominican Minister of Higher Education Science and Technology, Dr. Ligia Amada Melo de Cardona, attended the Education World Forum in London

Minister Melo de Cardona, visited the UK in early January in order to attend this year’s Education World Forum, the largest gathering of Education Ministers in the World. More than 50 Education Ministers and delegations from more than 70 countries participated in the event.
Also, the Minister’s programme included a visit to Harper Adams University lo learn about their education offer and to study potential links between the University and the Ministry. Whilst in London, Minister Melo also met at the Dominican Embassy with the Dominican students that are currently studying in University of Wolverhampton with scholarships from the Ministry.
