On Sunday 7th June, Ambassador Patrick Mullee joined in the Corpus Christi cultural celebrations in Amaguana, with a population of approximately 40,000 inhabitants of which the majority are rural. The President of the local Government of Amaguaña, Mr Milton Pachacama, invited our Ambassador to join the celebrations.

Every year this vibrant community revives its historically unique traditions through a colourful presentation, helping further develop the area into a tourist destination. Thank you to the Amaguana community for letting the British Embassy Quito join in the celebrations.
