British Ambassador to Kosovo, Ian Cliff, delivered 40 cultivators to farmers from Zvecan including the villages of Lipa, Zaze and Boljetin on 8 October 2014. In addition the farmers will also receive training to help them market their produce.

The event was jointly organised by the British Embassy and NGO Business Centre Zvecan. It was attended by 40 farmers who displayed their products on small stands and used the opportunity to thank and talk to the Ambassador.

This project is a continuation of last year’s successful programme where the British Embassy delivered 32 greenhouses and supplied 20 orchard owners with a thousand apple seedlings.

Ambassador Ian Cliff said:

We hope this modest contribution will help you achieve longer term goals such as enhanced productivity, better access to markets, more cooperation in production and marketing, and better futures for your families.
