Details

This is the second edition of statistics on workplace pension participation and savings trends. It covers the years 2004 to 2014. These statistics will be updated and published each year during the implementation of automatic enrolment. (Implementation began in October 2012 and is due to be completed in February 2018).

These statistics are based on data from the Office for National Statistics 2014 Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings.

  1. Updated PDF and spreadsheet. Minor revisions to sections 1.2.10, 1.2.11 and 1.2.12 correcting the trends from 2009/10 onwards following a methodological change to our analysis of the Family Resources Survey. The revisions do not change any key points from the original release.
